- Outpost Firewall - A free firewall that's like TPF (Tiny Personal Firewall)/Kerio but with plugin support (http://www.agnitum.com)

- UniShare - A multi-protocol filesharing app (supports Gnutella, WinMX, OpenNap and its own protocol) (http://www.lanshine.com)

- Foxmail - A Mail Client that's like OE but has more features than it (http://fox.foxmail.com.cn/english.htm)

- Shareaza - The BEST Gnutella client out there! (http://www.shareaza.com)

- Trillian - An Instant Messaging Client that can connect to the IRC, ICQ, MSN, AIM and Yahoo! networks (http://www.trillian.cc)

- Spybot Search & Destroy - A spyware removal program that can detect and remove more spyware than Ad-Aware can (http://beam.to/spybotsd)

FreeRip MP3 (http://www.mgshareware.com/)

Free Rip MP3 is my favorite ripper. Can encode ogg instead of MP3 too. I'm sure a lot of people use this already. Just thought i'd remind everyone.

i really like this free program called "gator" it saves all your passwords so you don't have to remember them--it's terriffic!
