I tried ABC the other day, because it supposedly has a good user interface and supports super-seeding.
I wasn't impressed as there was no documentation and the user interface was clumsy. Plus there was a weird error message about restricting the bandwidth of leechers to 6-8kbs. What was that about?
Is there anything else a bit slicker?
Are there any other must-have features a BT client should support?

Hmm, it seems like its time to change my signature. I'm obviously in the minority!
In its defence I found ABC less clumsy than the the rest of the clients and it doesn't need documents because it explains itself.
If you are using super-seed then that means that you are the original seeder and so probably made the torrent. ABC also has a built in torrent maker.
But the whole purpose of lots of clients is you get a choice.
Welcome to ZP by the way.

Oh well. I suppose I'm just spoilt by the interface of Shareaza... I just wanted a super-seeding client for when I'm seeding torrents. I'll try to get around to trying some other clients and seeing how they compare. For now, ABC is being deleted.
I disagree about ABC's interface explaining itself, it's definitely not clear enough for a newbie like me. Without documentation, I'm forced to search the net for the info.
Thanks for the friendly welcome. :bling

Shadows Expermental client has a super seed option. It is a must for seeders. It cuts upload time by half for me.

I'm with Kilz. That's a good client version. I like the bandwidth capabilities and the minimize to tray options.

Shad0w's for seeding. Otherwise, stick with Shareaza.

Try Azureus. IMHO it is the best client available and I have tried a majority of the clients that are available. The user interface is really nice and it also allows the super seeding function.

'Burst' has that feature also..it was created a seeder client only, but has morphed into a full client..nice & simple.

What is Super-Seeding?
Super seeding is diffrent in each client. Some dont realy have a super seed option but are optmised for seeding. The client I have used most is Shadows client. Its super seeder works differently than most. Insted of your client advertising its the seeder and filing requests as normal seeders do it dosnt advertise. It apears to be another leacher. It starts by giving out rare pieces of the torrent. It also dosnt fill the same piece twice untill they are all available forceing other people to pass around the pieces more. This results in less time uploading ince you are only uploading 1 copy of any piece insted of the 5 or 6 times its normaly done.
I have tried Azureus , Burst, PTC, and a few others, nothing seeds as fast as Shadows client. It works so well in fact I recomend it on my tracker.

I really like Shad0w's Experimental. Quick, simple, easy and small. Just set it and forget it. Also, it shares resources and bandwidth beautifully with my newsreader (NewsBin)
