no. it's probably one of the more useless 'features' on aol. does anybody care that you've been warned? "i'm not talking to him, he got warned 15%". and the warn anonymously thing is kind of ridiculous as well.

if you don't wanna talk to somebody, block them.
if you want to insult somebody, there are 1,000 better ways to do it than by warning them... even a "your mama is so ____" is better than warning somebody.

i dont use aim much, but dont they have a feature like on yahoo messenger, that if they are not on your buddie list they cant pm you and send u messages.

i would like to know because i dont use aim much but its interesting to know. and i wanna know.

Warning is the most useless feature on AIM. It doesn't really cut down on spam IM's because the screen name that sends them is constantly changing and by the time you warn them, they're gone anyway. It's useless, dumb, but great for some children to amuse themselves.

While I'm on it, blocking should only be used in extreme situations only!

I simply grew out of it, we used to have warning wars in MS the last one w/o 100 won, Youd just im eachother trash talking and you'd warn as quick as you can.
