well acrobat professional,you can author pdf files.of course it is not FREE. But since it is quite popular you will most likely be able to find a way to "purchase" it on some network*wink*wink*. I would suggest searching for it on Sharereactor (http://www.sharereactor.com) a ed2k link resource.

I believe they have a free online option where you can create them online...

I think pdfs are annoying anyway, just my opinion.
