No clue, the DC++ site is still up. It may help you if you're looking to get on the network.

edit - Scratch that. DC++ is among your "currently using" list.

Or the extreme fan club that only uses EAC and won't download anything encoded without EAC. People get fanatic about neo modus.

It's been quite some time since I've used that app. What happened?

they were supplanted by a far superior product

neo-modus had no updates for about 2 years, and in that time DC++ gave users what they wanted

by the time neo-modus did an upgrade, 90% of users had already moved to DC++ and its variants because they offered multi hub, better resource use, bandwidth limiting, auto search for alternate sources, match queue etc

the neo-modus 2.0 offered these things, but shut out win 98 users , still had an ad banner, and forced the .NET framework on people to install

no thanks

even their hub has been replaced with yoshis hub and ptokax(even though ptokax hasn't updated in about a year), not to mention linux equivalents for hub and client

hub software (server software, as opposed to client software like dc++)

as opposed to nmdc hub version 1.0.25 that almost everyone used until recently
