I'm connecting via Piolet 1.05 through a campus network. While the client tells me that it is "Connected", it will only provide me with a very limited range of results for some very common thread names (usually less than 4 or 5 results for earch search). Does anyone know what could be causing this lack of search results, or is there any way to configure piolet to fix this problem?

well since your on a campus network, you might consider that your net admin is backing certain known "p2p ports". In that case then piolet wouldnt connect and then try to use different ports possibly one of them work. From what you said it looks like piolet is connecting is using some other port other than the native piolet mp2p connection ports. So it is working but not so well maybe because while piolet operating under that port does not function "optimally". I would check out in the settings section of the program and try different port options maybe something else would work better.

Possibly check out clean blubster(basically same client, same gui, connects to the same network, minus all of the spyware, adware, and other bS. Try this software instead of piolet, it might work( but in case you do uninstall piolet first then install clean blubster!)
