I think we have all got carried away with ‘Poll’ fever. I’m thinking about posting a poll to decide what I should have for breakfast this morning! Or perhaps I should post a Poll to find out whether or not I should post a poll to decide what I want for breakfast this morning.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind the odd Poll, but when I come into the General P2P Forum and find the top 6 threads are Poll’s, I feel a bit exasperated.

Oh sod it... Do you think I should post a poll to decide what I should have for breakfast? :cross

tabclear, i agree. the most useful poll i saw was to keep a thread from being bumped as new if someone votes.

But someone had to start the poll trend, wonder WHO (http://zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11&highlight=poll) that was?

But seriously, I really like the new zp forums, and we will all adjust.

Doesn't really matter if you ask me, yes it's getting kind of old, but so what. No one's being denied to information on the site, the polls don't affect that much.

Yeah I know it’s a little like the pot calling the kettle black :;) and to be honest I don’t really mind all the poll’s, just thought I’d make light of it.

I agree on both counts :fire :fire :fire

These new forums are excellent, one of the most comprehensive systems I've seen built yet.

As for the Polls, I think it's a great interactive feature, gets more people involved in this community. And yes, I have already posted several polls!

It's not like you HAVE to vote to view the thread? So if you don't like the Polls, don't vote. Simple solution.

I don't think the polls do anything destructive to the forums ... ALTHOUGH ... it might be a good compromise that when a poll is voted on, it doesn't move that thread to the top of the group topic thread list. Only when a comment/reply is posted should the thread move to the top of the list.

Hey Matt, Jorge, is that a good idea?
