In the past, I have been able to download most files at 150-300KB/s, but I have not been able to download at any speed from suprnova in 2 months, everything gives me "problem connecting to tracker, timeout exceeded".

I have been able to download some ebooks bout 10mbs or so, at a very slow speed.

I have left the downloads on for more then 24 hour on more then "10" occasions. Now I know people are out there downloading away, but it is frustrating to see all those downloads, and not be able to download anything in 2 months.

At first, I tried to forward ports on my router, then set it up as a DMZ host to no avail.

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I just finished a huge 700 mb program from suprnova, in record time, and I am also behind a router. I have noticed a lot more corrupted links though. Have you tried using torrent spy to check on incomplete and complete files before launching BT?

My Suprnova has been fine since I got my firewall sorted (port forwarding), but that was slow downloads not non-existent ones.
It is getting near the end of the month, so Bandwidth limits will be being reached.

Who's your ISP, Malicious?

I think the quality of the links on SuprNova have gone down a lot recently. I seem to get a lot of those error messages. There's quite a lot of files now though, over 10,000, using obscure trackers. When I check files with Torrent Spy most have no seeds. But I'm still able to download files that are seeded with pretty good speeds. Also, files that use the digital-update tracker (there's a lot of those on SuprNova) is always going down.

Your not the only one baccart.

Suprnova hasn't been good to me either. Every link i click on it has an error. And Suprnova is like the only bittorent site left that i know of that is actually standing and has a good amount of files.

so what are you using to get files??? currently im on overnet at blazing speeds of 5k/s what a fucking joke......

to think there were times when i could get real files off morpheus at 300-500k/s, and Bittorent at 200-300k/s ....

ah the good old days.

Basically man, i just have been using Kazaa lite to get my movies, music, programs etc....once in a while i go to suprnova and see what new torrents they have and see if any links work again...but so far i have no luck.

Every other bittorent site that i have gone to are all disorganized and have very little files compared to suprnova. So, it kinda sucks.

Try using mirrors. like this one: http://elissa.mobilefrenzy.com/get_mirror.php :goodjob

or if you're getting errors just refresh the page and you will go to a different mirror. There are at least 5 mirrors for suprnova.

Pipex, but I meant the bandwidth of the Suprnova mirrors. At the end of every month that site goes downhill!
http://elissa.mobilefrenzy.com/get_mirror.php
That just finds mirrors, same as Suprnova.org. They both select from the same pool. At least that is my recent experience.

Ah good old suprnova ;) Its not the best days for it, merely because its growing and growing. Its hard to sustain a site that has over a million hiits a day and has lots of mirrors. If one dies, and its linking to that mirror, the page kinda dies. Better then nothing tho.

Also, as for tracker time outs, 9/10 just leave it and it'l sort itself out. The odd time the tracker is dead. And ofcause theirs always the irc rooms, #suprnova.torrents , #bt , #bt-gm and so on. Its not all over yet!

Try re-starting your BT client until the error messages disappear. Waiting 20-40 minutes will start giving the seeds/leechers more time to disperse their files.

most of the times it is because that the tracker is overloaded and can't accept anymore connections at that time or the more obvious it is down. It happens more often than you think. Errors do occur in the real world. Just restart the download and it "should" work in theory.

I don't know if i caught suprnova on a good time...but it seems to be working now.

Right click on the torrent link that you want to download and select "Save Target As" and then save it....then click on "Open" and then save it to one of your folders and then it should download without any error message.
