I agree, this is deffinately a major improvement over past 5 betas.

Been using it since it came out, everything seems to work better, and my RAM usage was cut in half.

The new version can't open any of my old playlists. Is that just a freaky thing with the program, or is there something I need to install?? I really don't want to redo all of my playlists man...so anyones help would be appreciated.

Beta 2 was pretty good..but winamp 2.95 blew it away in every aspect..hope this one is worth it :)

RC 8 was a good release... I like the new skin it's pretty cool... I can't wait till they finish it, the only thing I haven't used so far is the built-in ripper...
