Just a note, the forums look like arse in Safari.

that's because many many things are made to microsoft's version of 'standards', and we all know how that works...

apparently jelsoft (the makers of vBulletin, our bbs) is another one of those companies who doesn't know how to write html properly.

Actually it's just Zeropaid, compare this link: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56181 with zeropaid, they are running the same version but the vBulletin site looks fine.

This will effect linux users using konquerer as well since safari uses the same engine.

That is the vbulletin site... This forum is the same vBulletin version and so should be compatible the same, however it(ZP Forums) looks terrible on linux in konquerer and in Safari on OS X. Shawners, this has nothing to do with copying a websight = website.

Hmm...weird.

Looks OK in Firebird - therefore should look (nearly) OK in Safari.

As isus said, many things are made to Microsoft 'specs', not web-standards. Don't get me started on that one...

I use Safari when I'm at the library playing on macs, and zp does look like crap on it. If I knew how to take screenshots, I would next time I'm there.

where is triniti j.ashton?

You can call me ashton if you want. Triniti is kinda sorting out some things in her life, she shut down peerlounge I noticed. She's working again, I think for NYLife, anyway pm or email me and I can get you her contact info. BTW, I will be in san diego after thanksgiving for 3 weeks working for some clients of mine out there that got stuck when Empiredrm bit the dust, so I was thinking about looking you and chris up if you don't mind.

That'll probably due to problems with the CSS...

Maybe this is the problem.

.table
{
PADDING-RIGHT: 3px;
BORDER-TOP: #ffffff 1px solid;
PADDING-LEFT: 3px;
BORDER-LEFT: #ffffff 1px solid;
font-family:arial, helvetica;
font-size:12px;
PADDING-TOP: 1px;
PADDING-BOTTOM: 5px;
BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff; <- missing!
}

firebird and safari are based on entirely different rendering engines...
