Photo Cd's for Dvd Players

I've used Nero for making VCD's to watch on a DVD player (don't have a Dvd Rom on the computer) but I can't get more than 99 items (photos and menu pages) without disabling the vcd menu, which then means scrolling from the start, one photo at a time, is the only way to view, or at least on my player. Has anyone used software that can have a larger menu or know a solution?

possibly installing the newest version of nero would help. 6.0.020 I believe check with the site Here (http://www.ahead.de). possibly the files have already filled up the cd's compacity it sounds stupid I know but hey it's good to check.
