i thought i solved this problem when i post it first in Advance users...but i was wrong. Here is my post--->.I am a new member...and here is a challenge for u. While i was downloading a Key generater from kazalite suddenly the screen went krazy on me. It started to shift very fast to the left and the picture was deformed.
I turned the pc off quickly.....later i turn it on again and i was expecting the worse. But i found nothing there, no virous. I ran NAV 2003 Pro. many times and no virous. Later I downloaded RAV antivirous and no virus. Here is the problem kazaalite will search but never download..always showing the massege "More Res.". I got a lot of resources. I deleted klite and downloaded a newer version like 3 times, but no luck. I tried every thing that klite mention about troublesooting, but again no luck. my pc is XP pro. pentium4, 2G, 250 DDR, 80G. Guys i luv this software can anyone help. Appreciate your time.<---end.

as per suggestions i did reinstall XP twice just to have klite work, and i uninstall and reinstall klite like zellion of times, but after the second time of xp instalation it worked for minutes and then back to the same problem.??????????????????????????????????

I've seen this happen before. What you downloaded was not a virus per se, it was more of a practical joke. I've ran across it a few times. It makes the screen shift across really fast. I think it's called subway or something. You just need to leave the screen alone for a few minutes, and everything will revert back to normal.

You need to go into your router settings and see if anything has changed.

if it has set it back to what it was (of course, easy things first) If the settings are the same and it doesn't want to work, you may try DMZ mode. Which opens up all ports. If that is a bit too severe for you, look in your router config to see what Ports are open, and then set Klite accordingly.

Keep this in mind though, if all else fails, what you describe sounds like normal behavior with KaZaA and a router, it is hit or miss. When you have a router you cannot connect to other routered users; effectively cutting sources in half or more.

What type of router are you using?

Type this adress in IE: http://192.168.1.1/ (or click that link). Then use no user name, just type "admin" in the password box (whithout quotes).

Find your internal IP, and forward ports to that IP or just do DMZ hosting (under the advanced options).

I'd help you find your internal IP, but I can't remember how. I just look at the status bar in MyIE2 which tells me.

i did finaly resolve the klite problem. it has to do with the MS Explorer or the router. for the router its the same setting from before but now i am using Netscape. i was having problems from before with the Explorer. But u know wat guys for the first time now i discovered how good to have Netscape instead of Explorer. Thank u all for your help...i learned a lot from your input.
