Let me start off by saying that 90% of stuff they show on tv is COMPLETE SHIT. But of the shows that are still good, What is your favorite? Mine would be The Sopranos, That 70's Show and The Simpsons. I did like the show, The Job with Dennis Leary but ABC had to go and yank it off the air, lol.

South Park is will always hold a special place near and dear to me...but I never catch it on TV...I download it before it comes on over here...heehee...gotta love it. Simpsons and 70s are definitley good choices...if its like a holiday or something and I actually AM watching TV, scrubs is choice...along with seinfeld.

Fire is cool, beavis and butt-head rock.

Wait... They've been cancelled already.

King of the hill is a terrible replacement. The only funny episode was when Hank accidentally smoked weed and called it "an inferior grade of tobacco."

Totally forgot about beavis and butthead but yeah that will always be one of the greatest shows ever.

West Wing, best program out there, excellent writing, great issues, regardless of political alignment.

heh, yeah West Wing is second of 3 shows that I actually watch.

Simpsons
West Wing

But best of all - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!!

Have you EVER used the Search Function?

Don't make polls for something like this... how can the Sopranos be compared to these other shows?

Heh, if 90% of a restaurant's menu was shit, would you dine at that place?

dont get hbo, so I cant watch the Sopranos... Ive rented one of the movies once, and thought it was pretty good. As for cable, out of the list, simpsons rules the television waves. It has to be the longest running prime time cartoon.

I love futurama as well, not sure if they write new episodes though. I can only see them on Spike TV at midnight though....

Call me tacky, but I like Angel. I'm a bit of a vampire fan. Andromeda for my dose of Sci-Fi. Yu-Gi-Oh for my saturday morning cartoons.

Call me tacky too, Demonus. Angel is the only show I never miss on television.

BTW. Didn't this week's episode rock?

For the purposes of this poll I had to pick South Park with Simpsons running a close second. But I mostly watch The History Channel and I never miss Mail Call. How can you not like R. Lee Ermey?

Hmmm, I know i'm probably alone on this one, but I like Smallville. Of course I love Simpsons and That 70's Show the most, but the unintentional humor of Smallville is just killer. Plus some good looking girls, and ya can't go wrong with that now can ya?

Out of the list I would have to go with the Simpsons. Another favorite of mine is Malcolm in the middle.

I voted for That 70s Show. Really great show.

My favorite show not on this list is Scrubs, it never disappoints me.

I only watch a few shows on TV regularly--It causes me pain that I am compelled to watch them week-after-week:

Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Happy Meal items that are superheroes, who you never see being super heroes. It is on the AOL 'toon Network.

Alias - Unrealistic spy drama on the Disney Network (oh, I mean ABC).

Smallville - Unrealistic Young Super Hero drama on "The WB" (they paid me $5.00 to call them that--also owned by AOL).

The OC - damn... I love this show... I hate that I do... but it is SO good. This show is on Rupert Murdoch's Fox Network.

Scrubs - This season has sucked ass (although a few episodes have been good), but the last two seasons were brilliantly written--poignant and funny; I have faith that it will become better. This is on GE's NBC Network.

Mythbusters - A Discovery Channel show debunking popular myths and legends... unfortunately on Friday night, so I often miss it.

The best show on TV? Curb Your Enthusiasm, hands down. Larry David is a brilliant comic mind. Curb Your Enthusiasm is on AOL's HBO.

No way man, Beavis and Butthead will never be forgotten. That was a cool show. It was like the only show that made me laugh on MTV.

Good show! I hope you got to see it tonite. It was about the gold painted lady from James Bond and eating poppy seeds before you take a drug test. I like Urban Legends too. It's on either Discovery or TLC. It's fun to try and guess if the tales are true or not.

Old quote, but I can't resist...

The OC? HAHA... I was hooked on that show too...I hated that I was, but I ended up downloading all the HDTV/PDTV rips anyway. Seen it maybe once fully through on prime time. Mischa Barton has lost 'it' ...she looks like she gives the commode a regular bile blast... Rachel Bilson on the other hand....jesus h chirst she's just yummy. lol

There are a few .torrent files of Myth Busters on www.digital-distractions.com It's a neat show to watch when you're in the mood to see two crazy bastards bust and blow stuff up in the name of science.

Smallville? You only watch because Kristin is a Euro-Asian goddess. :P

My vote goes to Wonderfalls...I fucking love that show! The one an only season produced is coming out on DVD sometime in early December, but it's not set in stone...ugh.

Nothing better than urban legends and crazy people that enjoy seeing how far it will take to make the myth true (usually using explosives)... BTW, I haven't used a keyboard in like three weeks and my typing has gone completely to shit... this is the main reason I am posting so little

This list was before wonderfalls... I have seen all the eps when they were on and have several I found through BT... it was a damned good show... far better than the moronic tripe that is populating the airwaves.

I might add Penn and Teller's Bullshit, Six Feet Under, and Curb Your Enthusiasm to my list. CYE might be the most hilarious thing ever allowed on TV.

They're up to episode 12 over at supr (12 down..one left). I'll still buy the DVD...may even buy two copies.

American Idol still lives on....Forever Eden was what replaced Wonderfalls....what the hell are these execs smoking? Wait...no...I'll just blame the populous at large...people as a whole are retarded when it comes to good progamming.

Caroline is just damn cute...and a damn fine actress to boot.

I'm still trying to hunt down a copies of "Comme un Voleur" and "Cap Tourmente". Luck ain't on my side though... :( Heard of either? Anyone else know of a copy floating around (even if it's a DVD I have to buy..I'll buy it)? Help people! I'm dyin' here lol

SVU is the worst law and order show ever.

My wife has started watching quite a bit of L&O recently, and I have watched a few eps of SVU... all I have to say is that every episode makes me feel oogy. Somebody in every ep gets raped or sexually victimized and the person that did it is all fucked-up. The show is not bad per se... it is just uncomfortable to watch.

I would have to say that they're all in my top 10, but the #1 right now would HAVE to be The Shield.
That show kicks all kinds of ass.
As for rewatchability, South Park, hands down.
Others in my top 10:
Family Guy
Almost anything on Food TV
Deadwood, IF the next season was as good as the 1st.

Honorable Mention:
Insomniac
Curb Your Enthusiasm
History Channel (anything)
The Man Show (Adam and Jimmy only)
