i downloaded (NAME OF GAME) from eMule, mounted it with Daemon Tools, but when I get to 9% in the download i get the following message:
Setup failed to extract files form D:\FilesCab\Cab1.CAB. This is most likley caused by low memory (low disk space for swapping file) or a corrupted cabinet file. Please restart your maching and run setup again.
I restarted and got the same message...everything else seemed to be going fine up until that point too....

does your computer meet the minimum system requirements for the game?
do you have the page file disabled, or at settings other than the default?
how much memory do you have?
how much free disk space?

the problem is either between the actual program installer and the problem like stated above that you're system does not meet system requirements to run that specific game.

This might help you, though it may be one of many problems that you are encountering.
1. First use a program like WinISO to extract the currupted cab file. WinISO is a program that lets you edit common image files.
2. After extracting the cab file, use this program to repair the curruption.
Advanced Cab Repair
http://www.wc3sear.ch/cookie/Tools/ACR.zip
3. Then proceed to use WinISO to return the fixed cab file back to the original image. Remember that the name of the file has to be the same as the original.
4. Burn the image back to the CD and try again.
If your not burning the image to CD, then just follow step 2.
Hope it works out for you.

i got the files extracted (but i didnt need to-i just opened it from the D:\ drive b/c it is still mounted there with Daemon Tools)...so then i proceeded to Advanced CAB repair, selected the file, and after it started (maybe like 25% of the way done)...i got a "Failed to repair D:\FilesCab\Cab1.CAB!" message...so what else is there that i can try? (also, in extracting the files with WinRAR, I got two error messages, one saying that Cab1 was corrupt, and one that Cab5 was corrupt)...

sounds like a corupt file. nothing too special. either the download process was not good or the oroginal wasnt good. bypassing errors will catch up with you in some level or game option.
