ok i installed win2k3 on my slave HD so i can choose which to boot when i start my PC, but now i want to uninstall it so i can just got straight to xp when i boot up. Could some one plese tell me how to uninstall the 2k3 please?

format the slave drive.

then, use this boot disk (http://csislabs.palomar.edu/Student/Utilities/boot622.exe) to start your computer into DOS mode, and type this command:

fdisk /mbr

hit enter, remove the disk and reboot.

ok thx alot now all i have to do is backup the 100 gigs of mp3s first lol.

cpu! you of all people should know there is an easier way! hell... you tought me how to do it! all you need to do is delete everthing windows installed on that partition, then right click my computer > Advanced > Settings under startup and recovery > then under 'default operating system select windows xp

....they both work, i guess the hard way just popped into my head first :)

hehe...
btw, when you boot up next time, the dual boot screen will (probably) still be there. if so, then just run the command fdisk /mbr as cpu said
