Hi, I am a veteran KaZaA and BearShare user but am new to eDonkey. I was wondering --- when you connect to one server are you a) able to access all of the files from all of the servers on eDonkey or are you b)just able to access files from the server you are connected to?

2) if b is the answer then can you connect to more than one server to get more files?

You should update your server list each time you connect.

There are a few ways to update your list.
I just download a new server.met which if you look in your edonkey folder you will see.
Just download and replace your server.met and you will be good to go.
I download the 300 server list.
there are some utilities to do this automaticly but it's no problem for me to just replace the server.met file before starting edonkey.

You need to have more than one server for sure. Unless you just downloading one file and know the server that that file is on.
