Ok...Im hoping you guys/girls can help me out here.

I have 3 Dell PowerEdge 2650's and 1 2550, problem I am having is that 1 2650 and the 2550 are screwing up hard. They are both getting the Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error. I have looked at just about all the info that i can find on this "error" but to no avail. I have rebuilt the all the 2650's numerous times to try and get them to work, with 2 successes, one running Win2000 Server, and the other running XP. I had to put XP on one cause it would not stay up for more than 30 sec in Windows. XP fixed that. The other 2(2650 and 2550) will not work, Im talking just like the one I fixed with XP, 30sec, then blue screen. Anyone ever had this problem with servers before? Im a Network Security guy, and I really need these machines up.

Kernel Errors have always, for me at least, have been hardware problems or hardware incompatabilities. even though these are dells, and they are pretty much reliable, hardware does fail and software for windows will always suck.

I would try a new hard drive, Replace the hard drive and cd/dvd IDE Cables with some brand-spanking new ones, and try to reinstall windows again. also, dare i suport a microsoft product... on the windows xp disk, look at the hardware compatability wizard. sometimes, on occasion, rarely, but it happens, it will pick up a problem. If you are looking for network functions out of these machines, have you considered linux? They make very reliable network machines, DHCP, DNS, etc.

Thats what you get for installing software that doesnt work on your computer and is probably downloaded and so if you have trouble then call MS tech support.
