my blubster is wierd also. It works for a while, but then after a while after I start it up it stops responding, and I have to end it with the taskman, and then re-instal it to get it to work again.

It works with my XP, but I have to put all firewalls off and the DMZ pointing to my PC - So i decided not to use it, because both kazaa (lite k++) and OverNet suids my needs and are configurable with firewall on.

Although i get better results with OverNet when having DMZ enabled, but the great fear of attackers is too terrifying at today's life that i like to put all shield on. So Kazaa / FastTrack is my choise mostly.

Blubster may rust in peace !!! No use...

Overnet is a huge network according to Slyck.com, but you never hear anything about it. I don't even know what the pros/cons are. Would you like to enlighten me Azo-999/anyone else? Is there a thread on this somewhere to avoid me destroying this one?

goto http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=3732 to read more, there's a poll and it'll explain you that eDonkey, eMule and OverNet uses same network - the only difference being that the 2 first ones needs a connction to a server first and OverNet is a serverless client, that's why it is my choice.
No waiting and waiting to get connected to some ADANet at Turkey etc...
(Still eMule is getting over 70 percent of all votes /me wonder that ? )

Ah, thanks Azo-999, Slyck really doesn't make that clear.
Anyway - I'll let you get back to the topic.

i don't like the idea of shutting my firewall off either, but...
we still poke alot of holes in our firewalls useing these P2P programs anyway. :upside

That absolutely true Janett, I have gotten 10's of tries within past 2 months and almost everyone of those after using OverNet unshielded ...!
