Windows Update

ok I finialy desided to finish updateing windows

So I go to the site and deside what I want to download and proceed after awhile it downloaded the file but when it went to install a error came up saying that it did not meet the windows logo testing

what should I do?
Is there a way to turn this off?

As many as you know I am running windows xp home edition and it is legit

So you're going to the windows update site, or downloading patches on your own?

I know there's a way to turn that feature off, I've done it (if I'm thinking of the same thing you are). There were quite a few steps to it. Can't you just click "install anyway"?

if you see it when installing a driver, you can turn it off right then. however, if it is, for some reason, defaulted to not install those drivers, i don't think you will see the option, and you will hafta do it cpu's way.

As an alternative, someone recently recommended a program called BigFix. I'm really liking the concept of this program, and the program itself works great.

It will help you fix more than just windows patches. Make sure to subscribe to whatever version of windows you have to get updates.

I can't get bigfix to work and that did not help cpu still giving me the error
