I dont belive a word people say about people being given lawsuits, i mean there is no evidence that this is happening ! it can be made up storyies to encourage fileshares not to share music because the message is sure not getting cross to kazaa users as there hasnt been any drop in people sharing files ! I live in the UK so i cant say that the lawsuit story is fake but it can be right ? What do you think ?

I don't think so many ppl would be fighting this if it were fake. I know a person from a rival high school who got 1, and he's the talk of the town. I'd start believin'

I believe these lawsuits are quite real. The RIAA is indeed, IMO, crazy enough to sue their own customers.
Hey don't take my word for it, check out:

It's just a story, quite fictional, similar to the moon-landings. Planned by the same basic people really. It's really kind of unrealistic too, everyone knows that information is free.
Steal information? That would be like stealing land. Like anybody could ever own Mother Earth, or the thoughts in our heads.
I give it two thumbs up though for drama.

I dont know how much of it to be true.. Some of these people replies was something like REHEARSED or just stupid that nobody said.. COME AFTER me you RIAA bastards.. OR KEEP Sharing. OR I SET UP A paypal to pay for a great attorney to take them on.. OR make a gesture to the p2p community.

At least they are getting sued too. It's probably old but they are suing for using Kazaa Lite to track users down.

in some ways its real and its one way it might be fake. the one way is that hat the other guy siad there is no prrof of this being real so it might be fake. It could be real cause the stories of people getting sued are being talked about on the news world wide. Another reson that i could be real is that other companies including the EFF are trying to stop them. So i am saying I do believe people are getting sued.

Just using my real username to post again.
Suing K-Lite ?!? There's nothing to sue, it would be like suing the dolphins or the wind. This storyline is taking a turn for the worse.
Definitely fiction, I will say it again, this is obviously a bad soap-opera with some very good moments.

I have seen legitimate stories on P2P users being sued by the RIAA on the CNN, USA today, Fox and NBC news sites as well as here at zeropaid and at other sites like slyck.com . I have no doubts that there really are lawsuits proceeding against these users and that they were initiated by the RIAA. As to the exact details of what is happening with these lawsuits, that may very well be a mixture of fact and fiction as we tend to hear so many conflicting stories about this.

All the news concerning the Lawsuits report that 'RIAA have anounced' but they can anounce any Shit they like ! Even if its not true and it will be picked up by the media in an instant ! As they Say News is Biased !

There is a provocative argument to be made that the RIAA's interpretation of copyright law is fictional.
