It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this. The RIAA seem to be focusing on Fasttrack at the moment, so the important question is does such a weakness exist there? I dare say that the EFF will jump on this.

No I disagree with you there. You think it is just coincidence that most computers have only Windows installed on them ?
Just because you and most regulars here are not dumb enough to do something like that, does not me the majority isn't.

exactly. people who don't know how to use p2p have a good chance of just opening attachments wildly.
how else do you think that viruses spread so easily?
the viruses i refer to being the ones you that are attached as jpeg's with false extensions (nudie.jpg.exe, where windows will hide the .exe).
