Jorge.. What do you think about a place for people to post magnets?

I think we'd all like it, and it would definitely help zeropaid as a site, I think. Though I don't know how you'd organize it and things. I mean, do you want it to be similar to filenexus and sharereactor or would it be organized completely different?

Jorge, just a few thoughts.
Maybe something like a forum, easily updatable. Maybe a mod to look over everything. Different areas of interest. music/apps/ etc. Somehow workable for bitzi.com urls they have for users to copy and paste. Not sure how it would be done. Maybe an option for unregistered users to post. Making sure prying eyes dont see who is sharing what.(If you know what I mean.) Sharing eight gigs might have someone look a little harder. rofl

I think this is the best way its very easy to set up and very easy to add files to a bitsociety (http://bitzi.com/society/). Multiple Zeropaid ones could be made Zeropaid-Music and etc... And it would help get people to contribute to the catalog so it would get better and you can change whatever you sumbit to anonymous if you wanted too. Which this has everything that was mentioned here.

Using Bitzi is fine but I think the idea some people like me are trying to get at is....
it would be nice to be able to discuss music etc. and share a link.
Refering to a bitzi link is fine and it is a good place to browse and insure your getting a good file.

I don't think the idea should be to make bitzi better, but to be able to just continue with our discussions and add the feature of sharing a link.

Of course you could dedicate a area for people to discuss and share on particular subjects.

I don't think we should limit it to magnet links either, but include edonkey links as well. Not to compete, but to just be able to share.

There is no one real good forum with magnet links now, there will be I am sure.

Im against this idea happening on the forums.. For one it would most likely lead to other problems with people requesting for files, crackz, serialz, keygenz and some people will start posting them which isnt good... Also people could post links to porno and warez and etc.

Im just afraid that this would cause a ton of more problems that the moderators would have to deal with and turn this place into a warez board.

If anything is done here and not a bitsociety which has everything that people asked for then make it like suggest a links except make it so that someone has to approve the link so ones to things like porno, viruses, and etc. arent posted.

I think that this would be a good edition to zeropaid. Might want to consider making another site just for magnets. I dont like this shareaza site. ( no offense to the maker) Its singled out, almost all the clients are and will have magnet support. I think if the site is going to take off, it should not discriminate amongst the clients. I have seen edonkey sites which contain links and are based on forums. The only problem with this, is it can get cluttered with people asking for things and posts get bumped.
Maybe something like the submit news but quicker. lol

Your right.. It would lead to problems. But when I first came up with the idea, was to put thoughts out there. I really think something like sharereactor for the people would be great. A whole new section like hardware/links etc.

I don't think we should use eDonkey links, as it tends to be slow to download and takes a while to finish. Besides, there are already sites dedicated to eDonkey as you all know and we would be competing with them. Since there aren't a lot of places that you can find magnet links to Shareaza, zeropaid would be best off using them.

If this is implemented then Zeropaid had better upgrade their servers, cause there is gonna be a LOT more traffic.

TONS of traffic for sure, I'm sure the noobs will use this as their resource, diverting a little too much attention to Zeropaid, thus a lawsuit might ensue, since this place is such a hotspot for filesharers, the RIAA or MPAA would LOVE to take it away from us...

I suggest Zeropaid let other sites do this, a magnet site would be quite risky.

I asked Jorge this exact question many months ago, before anyone here discussed it.

It is probably just to risky and if not I am still interested in any reasons or reasoning that is going on. Well maybe not that interested anymore... :-)
