Emule, or anything that runs on the Edonkey network.

I second eMule.

i'll edit that for you (they asked about movies
WinMX--sucks, tons of fakes, long waits
Kazaa Lite--lots of fakes
KaZaA--spyware up the ass
iMesh--same as kazaa only less stuff
Grokster--same as kazaa only less stuff
eDonkey--good, some spyware, partial uploads put you at risk w/ MPAA
eMule--better, no spyware, some leech prevention, partial uploads put you at risk w/ MPAA
BitTorrent--good, but links disappear quickly, and partial uploads put you at risk w/ MPAA
Overnet--included in edonkey, same stuff applies
IRC--lots of stuff
Piolet-no movies
Blubster--no movies
RockitNet--no movies
DirectConnect--really good hubs are hard to get into, otherwise it's great
Shareaza--does lots of things (bt, edonkey, gnutella) just not very well
Gnucleus--old, limited user base
XoloX--old, limited user base
Newsgroups.--good, but very little control over what movies are available
LimeWire--ok not that great, spyware
BearShare--spyware, doesn't do anything different than any other gnutella p.o.s.
Morpheus--another gnutella p.o.s.
SoulSeek--buggy, crashes a lot, its centralization makes its future a bit iffy
if it's a rare movie, you'd be better off renting it, because the odds of finding non commercial, non lowest common denominator crap are slim

Don't forget the public library.
You might be surprised at what you might find there that is not available anywhere else. If you don't mind settling for VHS.

ENTER MODESTAS
The audience sees modestas negligently and stupidly reply to a year-old post, which has been obviisouly been abandoned many a week ago by the former poster.

There's no need to apologise to him, he's only 16 years old.
What he doesn't realise is that *new* people come to forums like these, mostly through google, who will have the same query/problem.
But just to annoy Rebirth even more, yes, eMule (or ed2k for the pedantic) is an excellent source for foreign movies. When I say foreign I mean non-english of course.

your local library should have a vast amount of free movies your allowed to take it out.

lets all annoy rebirth, dont use dc++ unless its improved over the last 4 years significantly I remember direct connect when i used mirc. It was horrible. Shared 100 million gigs to get in here. Its only for hardcore sharing people. Or else dont bother, I would say try a combination of bittorent, kazaa lite, emule and newsgroups.

"Get Highschool" heh.
eMule has the best selection of non-new release movies.
