Browser: IE 6
Problem: Downloading


Every time I download, the "download" screen pops up for about 5 seconds, then a message pops up and says: "Internet Explorer CANNOT download 'name of file' from 'source.'



I was wondering if there was ANYTHING I could do. I have tried redownloading Internet Explorer (and remembered my little predicament), messing with the Internet Options (under the security tab), and a whole mess of other things. WHAT SHOULD I DO ?!?!?!?!

I am using Windows 98, and I might because my sister is Satan. How do I change the firewall options (or view them)?

try going in internet options and click the security tab and click default level and set it to medium. Then go to the advanced tab and also click reset default. It should work then.. If it doesnt you could always try a different broswer like mozilla or opera.

Hmm, Try this:

Right-click the download link and select "Save Target As".
