Hi, here's an essay I wrote about http://www.sharethemusicday.com .

I analyze a lot of the p2p issues, including the legal, technological and economic.

Basically, I talk about how a voluntary compensation system might be viable and why the mass media is partly to blame. Also, I offer advice to musicians and journalists about how to share the music.

It's a long essay, and a lot of this has been covered elsewhere, but it covers some new ground, especially about voluntary compensation and mp3.com

You submitted this as zeropaid news-- it isn't news unless you get mentioned in a respected news site, so I can't post it. I was then going to advise you to post it in the forums, then I noticed you already have. :gj

I only perused your site, but I will read in depth when I get the time. From what I saw, looks like a url I will be sending to the Unbelievers quite a bit from now on ;-)

Well, yes, I figured that out.

Of course, the differences between "major media" and "minor media" are really not significant anymore.... :)

(But I understand what you're saying. There's a difference between opinion pieces and reporting).
