CD Read Problem

i'm not sure if it is just a prob with my computer or not but i pop GTA Vice city in my Compaq CD-Rom LTN403 drive and it will read the disk for about 15 to 20secs 40X speed drive and i look in the Task Manager and the vice city exe is running then quits but i put it in my 4x4x32 burner and about 1to 2 mins after reading the disk the game starts?? whats the prob any clues? by the way me and my friend spilt on the game and i have the burnt copy

Perhap the game was written to be read at 4x speed.

I say get your freinds copy, make a iso of it, get DAEMON tools , and mount the image
