clicks and pops on Mp3

I have the Mp3 files that someone made from a scarce old LP, and there are clicks and pops throughout. The only software I can find by using various search terms on Google remove the clicks and pops as the LP is being ripped.

Can someone tell me of a piece of software that will remove clicks and pops from an existing Mp3 or WAV file?

I'll tell you right now that I have Cool Edit Pro and can't figure out how to use it lol!

Cool edit pro does a pretty good job of fixing that. Im kinda tired of typing right now so ill tell you later.

If you have Nero Burning ROM, you can use the Wave Editor supplied with the program to remove most of the hiss, pops and clicks from the mp3.
