problems with winmx

everytime I use winmx 3.22 sooner or later my pc jams and I can only reset because nothing works -mouse,keyboard,...
I have ADSL and I've tried to use secondary connection instead of primary,but nothing has changed
I've also tried to remove and install again winmx,with no results.
what can I do?

try upgrading to the latest version of Windows -- Windows XP Home or Pro, but personally I like Pro, and see if that works, if you already have XP, then I can't think of anything else going wrong, except with a firewall, and i have had bad luck with all firewalls except ZoneAlarm free and pro
