I just got through watching The Naked Gun: From The Files Of Police Squad!, and even though I've previously seen it years ago, I think I pulled a facial muscle grinning at the lunacy. This is one hilariously funny movie.....what's your pick for funniest movie ever?

For allout hilarity, no matter how many times you watch it, it's hard to beat Monty Python. The most classic of which is probably The Holy Grail.

The all-time funniest movie ever made is Mel Brooks' "Blazing Saddles". The film was released in 1973. I watch it maybe twice a year. It is STILL funny, even after seeing it so many times. A true comedy classic.

Meet the Parents was hilarious. Basically any movie made by the Farelley (Farelly?) brothers is very funny. Happy Gilmore is another good candidate.

Dumb and Dumber.

Lloyd: "Uh, you know I don't really recall. Starts with an S. Sue, Swim, Swanny, Slippy, Slappy, Slimming, Salmon, Simmons, Swansin, Swanson. Swanson?"
Harry: "Maybe it's on the briefcase. Look on that."
Lloyd: "Oh yeah! It's right here. Samsonite! I was way off.

I also like Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein. Any of the early National Lampoon movies like Animal House, Vacation, or Caddy Shack which I don't think was an NL movie but starred a few SNL castmembers. Too many to narrow down to just one.

Dumb & Dumber, Cable Guy - anything with Jim. National Lampoon's Vacations really funny too. Silly stuff.

Okay I guess I'll go with Holy Grail. "We are the knights who say NIT" "Run away run away"
Funny stuff.

Yep, that's a really funny one.......one older movie which hasn't been mentioned is The Odd Couple, with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau....slick and sophisticated comedy.

Have no idea, never saw that movie. McGavin is older now, so maybe he was Sandler's father?

Oh ya, I love The Odd Couple.
Walter Matthau: " I hate little notes. This morning I found a note on my pillow. Supper will be late, FU. It took me two hours to figure out it was Felix Unger".

Probably not quoted right but that line leaves me in stitches everytime.

And I laughed just reading it, knowing full well it was coming.....that's a powerfully funny line.

From my point if view...its definetly "Happy Gilmore". After watching it everyday over a time period of 3 month, I'm still not sick of it!!!

Second would probably be..."South Park - Bigger, Longer, Uncut". Although its a cartoon, it's absolutly hilarious!!!

i'm a big fan of Jim Carey, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Mike Myers, David Spade.
i'm in love with their kind of humour.
so any movie they've been in, just kills me, over and over.
loved the Pet Detective movies...all the Austin Power movies.
Night at the Roxbury, Happy Gilmore, Old School.....that one killed me with Will Ferrell.
another good one was Joe Dirt. "kicking-bird.......kicking ass!"
i'm into comedy big-time....anything to make me laugh and forget the sometimes crummy world we live in.
Ellen Degenres' latest show on satellite is fucking hilarious.
check it out.
