ohhh it was sweet. radiohead are the best band EVAH, and they were in top form.

They played thier newer stuff, as well as older songs like Talk show host, fake plastic trees, paranoid android, and FOLLOW ME AROUND (this unreleased track that they rarely play, its really good and you are lucky if you hear it) no avatar music though, heh. and it was all great, it was a feast for the ears.

thom yorke was exceptionally cheerful. he was really into the music, and on the more energetic numbers he was bouncing around the stage! (yeah he always does that but it was with something special added that distinguished tonight from standard fare) during You and Whose Army, when he was at the piano, he was pulling faces for the camera. that cracked the crowd up.

favorite moment would have to be No Surprises. Beautiful song.
mmm. 2 encores, 2 hours, seats were 48$, but it was worth every penny.

white river ampitheater sucks ass though. It is really nice and new and there aren't any bad views, but the traffic GOING OUT IS HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously, I spent 2 1/2 hours waiting to just leave the parking lot, and a little more just to get on a TWO LANE ROAD! I spent more time in traffic than watching radiohead! Erg, they need to fix that. it wasn't that bad though, I had time to reflect some.
unfortunately, after the daydreamy bit, I was brought back to the present by the smell of dairy farms. yes, farm country.

I still havent listened to any music since. Best band in the world.

The theater is awsome. Parking is not. However the exit was extended Sunday do to a fatal accident near the exit. Show was cool though. Saw Lallapolloza two weeks ago there and it was good as well.

never been a big radiohead fan. they are too overhyped, they could release an album of (banging pots and pans) and still probably be critically acclaimed, and still be voted best band in the world.:)

actually, on thier CD Amnesiac, they had a song called Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box. They did play on pots for that one, I belive.

However, that isn't a fan favorite (the album and the song).

I genuinely like Radiohead. They have created their own sound, and don't really care that it doesn't sound like the latest thing on top 40. I admire that in a band, unlike many other so-called music artists who all sound alike. But they're not for everyone, apparently.

So they played Paranoid Android? Excellent! My favorite song by them!

Now I will sieze the opportunity to make an announcement--Anyone within a hundred and fifty miles of Boston Friday September 5, go and catch Superdrag's very very very last show for the "foreseeable future" at the NEMO Music Conference at the Paradise (probably the best club in Boston for sound and elbow room). Superdrag's not as critically acclaimed as Radiohead maybe, but these self-accorded "destroyers of emo" are nothing less than an awesome live band with great songs (not just the one song "Sucked Out" that MTV decided to play to death 8 years ago).

Another band that has decided to call it quits not for lack of talent, but after 9 years and no help from our buddies in the RIAA or MTV or KLON Radio USA, I can't say that I blame them for taking an extended (and quite likely a permanent) break. And I for one will miss them, but not starting until after tommorow night--then I'll be right up there in front, probably near guitarist John Davis.
