I seem to be getting a huge number of emails with this attached. Norton is picking them up and deleting them but the volume seems to be increasing all the time. I got 50 this AM.

I have run the tool from Symantec that says I do not have the virus on my computer but can any one tell me why i am getting so many sent to me?

You're not alone. Its one of the most highly spread virus's to date. This particular virus takes over an infected email account and spreads faster than a porn stars legs (emailing itself to tons of other email adress's)

Make sure you have all your windows updates, a good firewall, and up to date AV deffs, you should be fine.

i use hotmail, i havent got any. Maybe microsoft filters them out of my hotmail account.

That happened to me last week. The subject lines kept saying 'return mail administrator' - [when I didn't send any emails out for a week]. It will eventually stop after a few days. Just don't open any attachments.

Can't believe there are ISPs that don't filter out that shit - not MP3s, but SoBig.F.
