Although one might consider these people to be "stupid" or uneducated when compared to an avid file sharer, don't forget that these people who are getting sub'd. were sharing and not leeching. We should respect them for the fact that they were sharing and not just leeching like most people will/continue to do on other networks.

these are kazaa users (and other crap p2p users) they are too stupid to live anyway--let 'em sink

Many ZP members, including myself, use Kazaa/fasttrack on a regular bases. If I ever got caught, I would hope people would help me. If you don't want to donate to these people then fine, that's your agenda, but ther is no reason to discourage others from helping.

notbob is right, there are ways to virtually ensure safety from subpoenas, and any person that doesn't search for these ways or isn't educated enough, is responsible what he/she gets.

in essence, it is stupid to be still using kazaa BLINDLY.

Wow, i feel you here, They deserve much respect, You don't care if people leech, but you laugh at sub'd sharers. I support them 100%, if your going to slam fast trak fine, but it's funny because you guys who were in favor of how good gnutella is, their moving on to that now. gonna run?

Well if financial help were needed it should be to those that actaully get taken to court. And to be honest I don't think it will be enough for each person anyhow. Best to put that cash to those fighting the cause like the EFF.
