Im working on a loaned company laptop, without admin rights, thus no installation priveledges. The firewall im up against is something I can handle on my own, but I would love to find a way to do some P2P action.

Are there any P2P tools that are strictly web-based?

Please help!!

The only one I know of, where you don't have to download a program is www.avfind.net.

Not many are 'Web-based' and almost all existing networks require connecting to ports other than 80 and 21. If you mean something like AudioGalaxy, MediaSeek.pl look like the closest immitators but their network isn't functional.

If you really can handle the firewall, I'd just stick with the other p2p networks.

If you want some ideas to get around firewalls, check my post http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1038

If you want MP3s from WWW, try these...

http://www.impactmp3.org | http://mp3zoekmachine.nl | http://mp3.pagina.nl | http://mp3delivery.com | http://www.mp3sfinder.com | http://www.mp3mediaworld.net |
http://s3.mp3awards.net | http://www.supermusic.nu | http://www.quickmusic.org | http://www.mp3raid.com | http://www.muzikum.com | http://www.mp3fortune

ADVICE ON USING THE ABOVE SITES:
1. Only accept security warnings from "WAKENET"!!!
2. NEVER accept security warnings from "C2MEDIA"!!!
3. Using a popup killer is a GOOD idea with these sites. (Best one I've used in Analog-X's...), you can get it from http://download.com.com/3000-2381-8156476.html?tag=lst-0-13

C'ya!!
