I'm looking for a decent Spam filter for Outlook Express?
It's not for me, I only use OE for personal e-mails. All spam goes into my various Hotmail accounts. It's for a friend of mine who recieves vast amounts of spam in his OE (pron, adverts ect.).
I had a look over at Download.com http://download.com.com/3150-2382-0.html?tag=dir
but I don't know one good program from another, as I've never used one before. Can anybody recommend one? Cheers.

I use Spamihilator (http://www.spamihilator.com/), works fairly well for me, although it does need a bit of training at first.

I don't get spam, but the wife uses this one and it appears to work very well. SpamPal (http://www.spampal.org/)

You can configure it to only recive emails with a secret code.
You can only recive emails that in the subject have your secret code.-
Example:
From: webmaster@megabytes.tk
To: youremail@megabytes.tk
Subject: Hi friend! 4243
Where 4243 is your secret code.
The problem here is that you will stop reciving emails without that secret code!!!
Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the tips.
I tried Spamihilator, bit of a learing curve on that one. Similar to what Metale said about having word-filters for keywords.
But I like this, Mailwasher (Pro version) http://www.firetrust.com/products/mailwasherpro/ . It's a lot simpler to use, can add Hotmail accounts too. I use Outlook to access my Hotmail accounts as it's quicker than using Hotmail itself, but they're always filled with spam and you can only delete them through MSN only, not from Outlook. Mailwasher can! It only downloads the e-mail headers, not the e-mails themselves so you can delete them from the servers before they even hit your inbox.
You can also 'bounce' e-mails back to senders so it looks like your address is no longer valid and removed from mailing lists, thus less spam.
