Will the RIAA be going back in time and catching people that downloaded stuff months ago Ex. like December 2002? Or are they just catching people that are uploading and downloading files now?

it is more inlikely just the resent stuff when they started to collect evidence....

The RIAA said it had sought 1,075 subpoenas seeking information on song swapping from ISPs between the June 25 kickoff of its antipiracy campaign and Aug. 8. Copies of all of them had gone to Coleman's office.
This was in an article yesterday.
