THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CLICK ON MY SHAREAZA..IT WILL COME UP AS USUAL BUT AS SOON AS YOU TRY TO OPEN THE FILES IN THE LIBRARY OR TRY TO CHECK ON THE DOWNLOADS OR CLICK ANYTHING, A BOX COMES UP THAT STATES"MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY" . PROGRAM C:\PROGRAM FILES\SHAREAZA\SHAREAZA.EXE THIS APPLICATION HAS REQUESTED THE RUNTIME TO TERMINATE IT IN A VERY UNUSUAL WAY.PLEASE CONTACT THE APPLICATIONS SUPPORT TEAM FOR MORE INFORMATION.I HAVE WINDOWS XP AS THE OPERATING SYSTEM.I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON AS IT'S REALLY FRUSTRATING.ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.THANKS.

Ok, First of all, turn your Caps Lock key OFF!, And Second my friend has had the same problem, anyone have an answer?, He Has a Firewall but i don' think that's the problem, He also has WinXP.

Maybe a uninstal, and re-instal?
I have xp, and don't have this problem.

I did a bit of google searching for your problem and came across an answer on this (http://pub65.ezboard.com/fxicatinteractivefrm4.showMessage?topicID=17.topic ) website.

its a (slight upgrade) to the vc++ libraries available only in the VB service pack 3 cd. version 6 is what seems to be causing the prob and thats the one dist from ms update, hmmmm.

Do a clean install. Uninstall, backup your folders (Shared and incomplete) and delete the whole Shareaza directory. Then reinstall. That has fixed the problem for many.
