A repair tool for movies?

A few day ago I downloaded 2 movies where the sound precedes the picture for at least 10 sec. This is so annoying that I just couldn't watch it.
Is there a tool that can fix that? If not, are there any tricks that would help (just don't tell me that nothing can be done).

And another question: Is there a program that would let me play incomplete .avi files (WinMX downloads) - Win. Media Player just won't do it.

As far as the video and audio being out of sync I personally don't know. But you can use a program called AVIPreview to watch incomplete videos. Here is a link for AVIPreview:

rip off the audio as wave tmpge will do this....

convert to mp3 and add join 10sec file to this

convert to wave and patch it up again using tmpge

this will get you closer if not exact......

m sure you will get better replies than this.

I bet he got those movies from Kazaa, the problem is the source where he got it from. Problem solved!

it could be the speed of your computer. on my old computer, movies used to do that all the time. but what do i know. i never post on help threads.
