Unfortunately BT is very unsafe. The MPAA especially have been looking at BT activity very closely since it is one fastest ways to get movies.

Based on personal my experience I would try WASTE or private DC hubs.

The safest way to get files is Freenet (P2P), it is anonymous #1, at the cost of speed though.
They are working on keeping it 100% anonyous and are making improvements in the quality, with a new node routing system being developed (NGR) in the next couple of months.
Try http://freenet.sourceforge.net/ for more information.

If it's safe enough for child porn freaks to 'trade' up files...it's safe from the RIAA. LOL
Sucks that BT is taking a major hit...it's always been right up there with DC++ for me...freenet/FROST drive me nuts.......but it is pretty much rock solid in the 'hideeeehole' department.
