but can you do the fdisk, then install win2000?
i don't know what host errors you are talking about, maybe someone else with a little more win knowledge will be able to help you out.

Because it provided nothing to the orginal topic and telling people to switch to whatever is not help and will get cut off because it was not asked for, was off topic and because of the no fanboying rule.
