Which site is more informative for you?

ZP, Boycott is mostly about protests and etc. ZP is the one for news, and Slyck of course!, but like janet says 'ZP....This is my 2nd home, here here!

If youre going to post a poll . . . .

Put it under POLLS

I moved it here

I dont tolerate flooding with RIAA alarmist bullshit, so if thats what you mean by "informative" too bad.

Don't have time to check out every tom dick and harry website about the ongoing RIAA nonsense. I barely have time to drop by here, check my email, and keep my filesharing activities going!

ZP is like a second home for me as well...enough info floating around here on the home page to keep me abreast of the latest.

edit: oh yeah, and be the ruler of the Armed Republic Of Giant Atomic Insects on NationStates...lots of cool P2P / ZPer activism going on there. We've been trying to get the UN to legalize filesharing!

you can't compare the two sites. ZP is about filesharing and Boycott-RIAA is about... boycotting the RIAA.

Zeropaid.com is my favorite website. I visit this site many times during the day seeing the new recent posts and the news if any.
I probably visited this site more than any other website i have visited since i got my internet.

yeah you can't compare them, i use them in tandem but zeropaid is home, other forms like es5, nothing but alarmist and people who enjoy scarring n00bs. There's ones with mods, who ban people for fun but i like a site i can come and be myself. I file share some, check my email, look at basketball stuff, and then im at zeropaid

Its like comparing apples and oranges. The boycott-riaa is an actvist site while ZP is more of an informative site. Both sites contribute in thier own way to the fight for p2p.

I guess ZP is my primary filessharing site on the net but I do hang out at other places like p2pforums, slyck and utc too.

You had to ask, that?
Why, Zeropaid, of course!

Psst.....Spread the word, aight!

ZeroPaid.com for me I hardly visit Boycott-Riaa.com, Boycott-Riaa.com is only good for RIAA news, but ZeroPaid.com has news and info about all sorts of things concerning P2P/File Sharing plus the atmosphere is friendlier.

man Notbob....you take every opprotunity to slam Slyck...what gives?...John Newton is good, but NO one comes close to Slyck''s original news...Who else interviews WinMX or the rest of the P2P world?....Zeropaid is a great site, I love it it....but there's only so much cut and paste news one can take.....In any case, there is no comparison betweeen Boycott RIAA and Zeropaid...they are completely differnt sites....a real poll would be Zeropaid vs Slyck but since Slyck has alread won twice theres hardly any point....

Sorry, didnt know about the Polls thing. Usually just go straight to General P2P or Developers Corner, since I've written 6 low-end P2P programs.

Zeropaid is PRO-SPYWARE.

If you don't beleive me, then why on earth do they post advertisements for CYDOOR???

Another indicator is zeropaid not listing the Galaxyspy Pro anti-spyware and add-blocker software.

If your wondering what the hell i'm talking about with the Galaxyspy Pro comment, check out this URL and look at the two lines at the bottom of the screenshot to find out.

http://www.spy-gadgets.com/images/gspypro.gif

Looks like zeropaid didn't like someone that disagreed with their business methods. After all, if you can't beat them, blackball them.

...Just don't get the Idea that I'm knocking the zeropaid system...

What the hell kinda final response is that?

"Oh your sisters a fat whore that looks like swine, but dont get me wrong, I mean that in a good way "

Anyone thats been here long knows about Cydor sponsorship by buying AD SPACE., and a hella lot more than you know about other things here too.

Zero Paid is not PRO spyware, that's a rediculous statement.

NEW QUESTION:

Are you exclusive at Zeropaid, where else do you go and why?

Krell

LOl what do you mean "new question"?

This isnt your thread, if you want to ask a new question, as painful as it is for me to suggest it, go make your own thread.

If youre addressing a particular person, paste their name in the subject line.

Why even compare the two.. BR is purely for RIAA related information and nowhere near as general as Zeropaid.

And the 'versus' rhetoric..

These sites are all working together to provide information and allow users to share information with each other. BR will be trying to provide a central point for pure anti-RIAA content. I doubt they would ever be interested in competing with ZP... rather.. working together to educate consumers!?

Peace!

how can i forget about NS?!!!!, Nothing to do with this forum question but how can i forget NS?!, I am also one of the ZP'ers over there, not to mention the president of the whole 'group'. But anyways BR isnt an P2P news site, more like a 'protest for P2P' site with lots of insights.

he's right their not like really competing, it's hard to explain their equally important because you doneed to know facts. Every day something's happening, i want to know who fights an riaa lawsuit and the result of it, i'm just waiting for that day. Have the subpoenas stopped, i've heard of the 871 but anymore since then?

Get those other webmasters to post their access_logs... Zeropaid does 40,000 uniques a day. We push nearly 1.2 MB sustained. I know because I admin the servers. boycott-riaa.com is run by a shady lawyer in Jenkintown, PA out of his basement. I will give you his cell phone number if you want, you can ask him for the couple thousand he owes me for some work he never paid for. As far as slyck, I love those guys. Great content, great site, great attitude, good for the community. Nuff said.

ZP for me! I've been coming here off and on for roughly 2 years (give or take) since I read about it in a local computer newspaper. That newspaper has since folded, but ZP keeps going strong.

zp most definitely, there is no competition. Well Slyck and UTC I go to sometimes they are quite good but not as good as my 5th home :D

Poll Question: "Which site has proved to be most informative and influtential on your filesharing?"

Why is boycott-riaa.com an option?
