for those that dont know, http://sharelive.com/ was THE place to go for quality G2 magnet(shareaza) links. with the inclusion of the added ed2k network support in shareaza its emule section was more used as it was plain easier to have 1 client instead of 2 do the work. sharelive seemed to be a potentially great resource. as many know sharelive has been having its large amount of problems, it seemed to be down more than the average bittorrent site. from the looks of things right now, it seems it may not make a come back.
would be a shame to lose such a needed resource, help is needed.
i just wanted to spread the word, in case anybody can offer any help at all.
please dont waste peoples time with worthless posts of "shareaza sux" and the like, thats not the point, the point is a site that helps you do what you do everyday which is download what you "need" or want needs help, if you dont use or never used it move along and keep the BS posts to yourself there are those that are willing to help in supporting a decent p2p community

Many here will know I'm a part of PeerWeb (http://www.peerweb.org), a verifieds site that specialises in G2 Magnets. Now, much as I love ShareLive, I never found it's G2 section to that much use, although the ED2K section was (and I hope will continue to be) great. I know numerous people here use PeerWeb on a regular basis.

I have a dedicated server in a datacenter that I am willing to share with them as long as I'm not at a loss. It runs my website. http://www.smashsworld.com/
I just e-mail the guy.

i also use peerweb, but i still feel that the vast amount of files from sharelive was better, if it was requested it was available ASAP with good sources, peerweb sources are rather few and there simply isnt that much variety and diversity within the releases. IE. peerwebs movie section is lacking compared to what sharelive had, not knockin peerweb or anything, just feel that its missing that something that would make the site an experience rather than a quick stop.

G2 Magnet links was just a marketing tool to try to get people to use Shareaza's propierty network. Which now you can use pretty much any magnet link or ed2k link. Which there are plenty of other places to get magnet links.

I understand your points, but our requests are normally answered quickly. Also, notice how ShareLive is down and we aren't?

;-) One of your major advantages. WIth sharelive down, I guarantee you are seeing more hits. Great site.
