I use Foobar 2000 a lot. Running Windows 2000 Pro. I used to get this warning once in a while. Now it seems like I get it all the time. Does anybody know what it means? Thanks!

try re-installing your sound card drivers, and direct sound.

WHOA, DON'T LISTEN TO THAT GUY...JUST LISTEN TO ME

This is a common question in the Foobar forums when beta 21 came out. It had a new feature that detects clipping in audio files and tells you. It was handy, but then it was so sensitive it would pretty much pop up on every other song due to the fact that you're probably playing low quality songs from p2p. Few songs on Kazaa are of great quality. I for one try to get mp3s that that EAC ripped and Lame APS encoded, or if possible MPC's and OGGs.

See the two tickers down there? Untick the one that says "popup on warnings" so that console box won't popup all the time. Easier then reinstalling, huh?

Also, get the new beta 32, which came out a few hours ago, which give you the option to bypass the clipping detection

Also, If I were you, I'd get to know the player better, check all the preferences to give you a better understanding of its features, which keep on coming with every release.

Beta 32 came out a few hours ago, beta 29 came out with a new SDK, so any older components you have WILL NOT WORK, but get this anyway so you'll be updated and wont have that sensitive clipping detection AND for the new extended interface, which I LOVE.

Big ass installer is here with pretty much every component u need
