I think some of the hubs/rooms or whatever you call em on direct connect, are asking for to much to share..like I seen minimum requirements for a room and it said 70 gigs/3 upload max/etc..Thats not cool.

That seems a little high, but I have seen some asking for more.

I've got 35gig shared, but I can't use up my whole HD. So these people assume you have more than one. :mellow

sure there's hubs that ask for lots shared, but isn't there also hubs that ask for less? and don't complain how the lower share hubs have less data in them because that's the reason the high share hubs have high shares. I share 22gigs average and I can get into all kinds of hubs, though the best ones tend to have a min share of like 10-15gigs I find, they're just moderated a bit better than most hubs
