Lately a lot of the mp3’s that I download from Kazaa have been corrupt. When I go to play them back the song is fine for about 30 seconds, and then all of a sudden there is some very loud squealing that causes the file to be unplayable. This seems to happen to only new mp3s that come out. I don’t know if it’s my computer doing this or some new trick I haven’t heard about from record labels to stop file trading.

yeah search before you thread buddy someone else posted this... Yeah the RIAA has put out fake songs typically songs that play for a little bit then screech, this is to discourage using, if you download a fake make sure you delete it so you don't overwhelm other users... most fakes were made in 2003. just look for bitrates higher than 192 or download .wma files, last you can search for files that don't say RNS(one of many riaa companies), or search for a file made by your simple Joe. It'll say made by realjukebox or someother copy program. Carefully searching taking maybe an extra minute can get you authentic songs. Then again you can just download songs until you find one you like.
