hello everybody

i downloaded kazaa and kazaa lite recently. i have been trying in vain to connect using kazaa. i am behind a firewall, and somehow i guess this is the reason i am not able to connect. all i want to do using kazaa is to search for a software called crossword compiler (full version, not the demo). could someone out there help me out please.

regards

pradeep

hi...
just install kazaalite, or else you'll have to uninstall the spyware yourself.
second, be sure you firewall is giving full access, specially TCP port 1214, also give server permission

if you downloaded kazaa just for one software and you still not connecting, turn off your firewall if it is just for the compiler...

if u need more help just ask

Dont fret about it too much though, as my search for 'crossword compiler' on FastTrack yeilded no results. You might want to try another network or consider going with a different app.

Atleast with most firewalls, you have to set the secruity setting to a lower standard in order to exchange files with other people, before you do that, your firewall is probably blocking out every ping that it recieves.
