OK, here's my problem(one of 'em anyway).
I have been using Gnucleus for about 5 months but since my last beta "evolution" it gives me the following error code after anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes; "gnucleus has caused an error in gnucleus.exe". Anyone know how I can fix this? No I haven't tried reinstalling it yet:error but I will if it will fix the problem:error :error

I have the same problem, every once in awhile, it goes away then comes back, re-installing it has helped immensely, i think they will have a solution for it soon as far as the getting stuck in evolve, hopefully anyways. I would sure hate to have to get some other p2p program cos I love my gnucleus. So when mine starts acting up I just re-install it, maybe some one has a better idea cos I'm all ears heh....

I have been using Gnucleus for about 5 months but since my last beta it gives me the following error code after anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes hence it being a beta, use a final release and your problems should be solved.

You could try Shareaza v.1.6. it is a mean s.o.b. Mike's not just on another level to Swabby, He's in a different timezone.

Seems like PhilT doesn't like Gnucleus and holds Shareaza up like the Holy Grail of P2P. Isn't every program being changed and upgraded? I've been using Gnucleus for 7 months on Windows XP and Windows 98 and haven't had any "Gnucleus has caused a problem in Gnucleus" problems. I'll grant PhilT that I've never used Shareaza, but why should I use it when I'm satisfied with Gnucleus. Bring on the next evolution.

If you're happy with it that's fine, I use it now and again, in the past I used it exclusivelly. But it had problems that in my opinion were not being sorted quickly enough. Someone suggested I try Shareaza and I was vey impressed. It really is streets ahead of Gnucleus, but I don't use it exclusivelly, I use Gnuc and WinMX as well, sometimes I have all 3 running at the same time. The reply was to someone having problems, and a lack of response from Swabby. As you say, you've never tried it so you're hardly qualified to say if it's good or not. Why not try it out, then come back and say " No I prefer Gnucleus because........."
