help wit IP adresses

i have installed on my computer

emule
bittorent
kazaa lite 2.4.1

and ive been told its unsafe and i need to protect my IP does anyone know what this means and why i need somthing?

Simply said, there is no such thing as protecting your IP to remain anonymous. Uninstall Kazaa since it's the most vulnerable network. If you're worried about the RIAA, go back to good old FTP or Hotline, and share with friends only.
