To Get my Music On Kazaa

I just need some help on how to get my home made music on Kazaa for everyone to download. I see my music in My Shared Folders but everytime I try to look for my music in the search field it doesn't come up at all. Do I need to do some extra stuff to my music?(it's in MP3 format along with other things) I'll take any suggestions! Thanx!!!

you wont get your own shared files in a search.

is that not common sense?

second of all, no one else will ever dl these files, bc even if they were searching for it, there is a billion to one shot they would be on the same supernode as you. and you can only search one supernode at a time. and there are lots of supernodes.

considering you didn't realize that you wont see your own shared files in a search you perform, i hope that last paragraph didn't screw you up too much...

There could be a few reasons why you aren't seeing your files

1. You CAN NOT download from yourself, don't bother trying.
2. It can take up to ten minutes for your files to be listed on the network
3. If you are at a friends house looking for the files, you may not be on the same supernode, use kazupernodes, its included in kazaa lite from www.kazaalite.tk
4. If you are at a friends house looking for the files, and both of you are behind a NAT router, then you won't be able to see each other, and won't be able to trade files.

I don't know what kind of stuff this is, but I doubt it will spread very fast, its hard to release things on kazaa from unkown artists.

One time, when i got my friend just started out with filesharing, (kazaa) he for somereason shared his my documents folder, and some body had downloaded all of his poetry that he had written, so that shows that some people do downlaod your own stuff...

Thats a little different than music though.

Digital camera brands usually brand their pictures with a certain name like "Jam001" for jamcams. If you search the networks for that, you will find many "personal" pictures. There are some people out there that get bored and try to find these personal things. Quicken files are also commonly shared.
