I'm sorry, I don't know anything about this yet. I have that feature also to plug into my tv. So does the end that plug into the tv, is that just video-aux cords? Red, white , and yellow? I was thinking about buying the cord for my laptop

the movie title is :
Really Stupid Movie.avi
the sub name should be (EXACTLY the same)
Really Stupid Movie.srt
or
Really Stupid Movie..sub
Make sure they are both in the same directory, like the Really Stupid Movie folder
Then, just launch WMP
Go to File > Open > Really Stupid Movie
What Operating System are you using ?

Make sure you have directvobsub installed as the subs wont appear when you play the movie in WMP.
I think directvobsub is included in the kazaalite codec pack which you can find a link at the kazaalite site.
