I'm using emule right now to connect to the eDonkey network.

I heard that Shareaza supports this network.

For those who has used emule and Shareaza, do you find any difference in performance between the two clients or is it the same?

well I've tried Emule and I loved it and I personally! think that it's better to have a client that's dedicated to something! for example Emule is on the Ed2k Network. ShareAza has like 4 networks that it supports but it doesnt work all that well with all of them so I usually just use the original clients for certain networks.

yes i have used emule b4 and i liked it.. but i didnt like the time it take for files.. I use shareaza to get files from emule cuz i like the way it distributes files better.. trust me if there is like 5 other shareaza users geting the same file from ed2k network then it will go faster for u.. cuz small chunk size is nice for todays internet.. emule would be faster for a lan connection.. but since we have an internet with 56kers and dsl/cable we need small partial chunk size.. and thats y shareaza distribute files better

I like using eMule or eDonkey2000 for the ed2k instead of Shareaza.

I prefer Shareaza. You need to build up credits for both so to compare them you need to clean install the latest of each and test them. I like Shareaza's GUI and Features as well as it's hybrid network support. G2/G1/eDonkey swarming is niiiice!:tilted
